Combining luxury vehicle performance with all of the amenities of home, is one way to describe the Winnebago View. Mounted on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis, the fuel efficient View is easy to maneuver and a joy to relax in after a day’s journey. The View’s power plant is a Mercedes-Benz 3.0 liter, 6 cylinder, 188 horsepower turbo-diesel engine. Standard equipment includes a 5 speed automatic transmission with tip shift and 4 wheel antilock breaking system.
The View comes equipped with an RV Radio AM/FM stereo with CD player, iPod/MP3 input, weather band and remote. Cab seats include armrests, adjustable lumbar support and headrest. The seats also recline, swivel and slide. Power door locks with remote, power windows and power windows with defrost and turn signals are included as standard equipment on the View. Cruise control, power steering with tilt/telecoping wheels and 12 volt powerpoints round out the cab conveniences.
The interior comes with an overhead bunk bed with ladder and privacy curtain. Media equipment includes the aforementioned stereo, a 19 inch and 26 inch LCD television (satellite system ready), monitor panel, and an amplified digital HDTV antenna. Ventilation equipment includes a powered roof vent (for the bath), a powered ventilator fan (for the galley), and an overall roof vent with electric lift and rain sensor. Mini blinds, tinted windows, soft vinyl ceiling, skylight with shade and a cab divider curtain round out the stand interior features.
Standard galley items include laminate countertops, microwave/convection oven, glass sink cover, 2-burner range top with vented hood and light, and a refrigerator/freezer. Optional galley equipment includes a water filtration system. In the bathroom, standard features are a retractable self cleaning shower door or curtain, flexible showerhead, skylight, porcelain toilet and water pump switch. The bedroom comes with a foam mattress, underbed storage, mattress cover, pillows, and pillow shams. The View model 24G comes with a foam memory mattress. Optional bedroom features include a 19 inch LCD television.
Outside the vehicle, standard equipment includes an automatic entrance door step, ladder, porch light, step well light, front and read mud flaps, and premium high gloss skin. Options for the exterior are patio awning, electric patio awning with metal wrap, and exterior speakers with remote control extender.
The View comes with a 13,500 BTU roof mounted high efficiency air conditioner and a 20,000 BTU furnace. Optional HVAC equipment includes an A/C heat pump. Electrical utilities include an auxiliary start circuit, exterior AC duplex and antenna jack, battery disconnect system, automatic dual battery charge control, LP generator prep kit, AC/DC load center with 45 amp converter charger, and 2 deep cycle group 24 RV batteries. Electrical options include a 3,200 watt diesel generator, a 3,00 watt LP generator and a 300 watt DC/AC inverter.
Plumbing features include color coded labels, pressurized city water hookup/tank diverter valve, drainage valves, and an exterior wash station with lighted pump switch. A 10 inch sewer hose, holding tank monitoring system, 6 gallon, 110 volt, LP water heater with EMS, LP tank with remote fill power switches, a winterization package, and on demand water pump, are all standard. Heated drainage systems are optional.
